Nottingham Community Housing Association

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is the largest locally based provider of social housing for rent and shared ownership in the East Midlands. It employs over 600 staff, manages 7,000 properties and houses 10,000 tenants.

In addition to the numerous housing services NCHA provides, it also operates a department called Housing with Care and Support. This focuses on providing housing for specific groups such as Asian Elders, teenage parents, the homeless and other vulnerable groups.

The Problem

NCHA needed housing associations software that would ease the admin burden their case workers were experiencing on a daily basis, e.g. reporting, tracking and retrieving case information. Not only was this very time consuming, it was also highly sensitive information meaning that the security of any information held was of paramount importance.
