I have found Breeze very good at getting involved with the numerous developments we've done in the last five years. Specifically their ability to help guide the functional specification in order to deliver a system that is fit for its purpose. For example the latest project CRM developed in Silverlight is a great example where numerous idea from Breeze helped the system to become really successful. The level of success here is reflected by what the users of the system say.

The after sales support is second to none. Any issues are being resolved usually pretty much immediately after the call is logged and because the support is provided by the people who wrote the software, there are no knowledge gaps and or delays in either fixing the problem or rolling back to a previous version. Upgrades are usually completed outside of “core” working hours at no extra cost, thus reducing system down time.

Having just returned from our Farmer Conference, where we launched the app to the wider public, I would like to express our thanks for the work you and all your colleagues have put into achieving our rather tight time schedule. Breeze IT have been an exemplary supplier of bespoke software. The Management Information System built for us was completed on time, under budget and to a rigorous, ever-changing specification. The approach taken to finding a solution was very accommodating; any requirement we had was accepted and dealt with without fuss or issue, even considering the restraints of public sector development. Regular meetings and day-to-day contact with the Project Manager ensured the project was always on track and to schedule. Software updates have been developed and issued without problem, all of them deployed 'out of hours' to help minimise the disruption to users. Over the years we have developed a complex yet effective paper system to control our jobs from enquiry to invoice. The only drawback is the system is very labour intensive with a great deal of information duplicated on several records.

As we already have an internal computer network, we decided to approach a number of companies to create an electronic system to do the same job as our paper system.

We did not initially go with breeze-it as they were not around at the time and the company we chose made all sorts of promises that their system would do what we wanted.

After six months of frustration and disruption we cancelled their contract and were still no further forward towards getting what we wanted. We were also extremely disillusioned and sceptical of all so-called specialist bespoke software companies after being let down so badly.

We were approached by breeze-it who, right from the start gave us the impression that they were the right people for us. They took the time not only to analyse our paper system but also the people who operate it and came up with a proposal that would work and be easy to use. Their specification and quotation itemised every single element so we could see exactly what we were getting and how much it would be.

Although cost was not an important issue, we noted that their price was lower than other companies we approached. We decided to place the order with breeze-it because of their professionalism, the care they took in understanding exactly what we wanted and the confidence they gave us.

The Client Management System they introduced was produced in stages so that we knew exactly what was happening and when. The package is an extremely complex and powerful system behind the scenes but all we see are clear, easy to understand screens which make data entry and retrieval simple. The new system has cut time drastically and makes information on any job or client available to everyone who needs it at the click of a mouse. As a result, our business is more efficient and productive.

As Director of the University of Nottingham Institute for Enterprise and Innovation at Nottingham University Business School I am pleased to recommend Breeze IT for the highly professional and competent service that they provide.

I approached Breeze IT last summer with a particularly complex database problem. This referred to the development of a real time, online business survey that is due to become operational in February. Put simply the survey is required to register new panelists and send out monthly e-mail links to the live panel so that these businesses can complete a predetermined questionnaire on line. Results are then stripped out, analysed and illustrated in a wide variety of graphical analyses. The graphs react instantly as new responses are received thus providing a perfectly up-to-date picture of business views on the issues covered in the questionnaire. The actual detailed specification of the software was far more complex but the above is sufficient to indicate the highly sophisticated nature of the task to be completed. Breeze IT interviewed me twice to gather the logistical information that they required and very quickly generated a full specification for me to approve. I was consulted and kept up-to-date at each stage of development. Breeze IT were particularly concerned to provide realistic estimates of timetabling and outcomes. They also explained precisely the costs that would arise and their incidence. As further developments of the underlying concept occurred to me, Breeze IT were able to respond quickly in specifying the extra work involved, the cost and the timetable. This flexibility has been particularly appreciated as the nature of the project has evolved.

I have experience, sometimes painful, of working with other software companies. In their genuine desire to please they have sometimes overestimated their own technical competence or underestimated the time that software development may take in practice. To date my experience of Breeze IT has involved neither of these experiences.
